North Korea will most likely open its doors to tourists again in December. And curiosity is high, we notice! So our waiting list for trips to the mysterious land is growing by the day. This did not escape the media, as we were interviewed by the AD, RTV Utrecht, and NOS Radio 1 this week.

In the interview with the AD, Rik shared the following: “It is mainly adventurous Dutch people who are interested in North Korea. They have often seen a lot of the world before and are curious about what this strange country, home to 25 million people, has to offer. The government’s travel advisory is on red, but it is and remains an advisory. We inform travelers extensively about the risks in advance, ultimately they make their own decision on whether to go or not.”

We also reported on the radio on North Korea’s reopening. You can listen to the item via this link. Micha, one of our travelers on our waiting list, tells us why he finds it interesting to travel that way and visit this fascinating country.

In the coming weeks, we will be hard at work creating new itineraries and preparing everything for the reopening of North Korea. As always, we focus on safe, enriching travel experiences showcasing the region’s unique culture and history.

Keep watching our website and subscribe to our newsletter, for the latest updates on the reopening of North Korea. We will provide new information on border openings and available tours as soon as possible.
