Breaking news: the dates for the 6th World Nomad Games have just been announced! From August 31st to September 6th 2026, Kyrgyzstan will be the host of the spectacular games. During the games, athletes and culture enthusiasts from around the world come together to celebrate centuries-old nomadic traditions and sports. This year, it is set in Bishkek and will bring together participants and visitors from more than 89 countries.

What Are the World Nomad Games?

You may be asking,‘What are the World Nomad Games?‘ Simply put, they are the Olympics of Central Asia. But instead of swimming and volleyball, athletes compete in horseback archery, falconry, and many more sports that you may have never heard of. Each contest reflects skills that once defined the daily lives of nomadic peoples of Central Asia. This breathtaking spectacle is a celebration of heritage, skill, and survival traditions – and you can be there to witness it!
