Itinerary
Day 1 – Bangui
Welcome to the Central African Republic, one of Africa’s least-visited and most intriguing destinations. Upon arrival at Bangui M’Poko International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your local guide and transferred to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, the remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to relax after your journey or enjoy your first impressions of Bangui, a lively city set along the banks of the mighty Ubangi River, which forms the natural border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Day 2 – Bangui – Boali Falls
After breakfast, we’ll leave Bangui behind and drive through the Central African countryside towards the spectacular Boali Falls, the country’s best-known natural attraction.
After arriving, we’ll explore the area on foot and admire the impressive waterfalls, where the Mbali River plunges nearly 50 metres over a series of dramatic rock formations. Depending on the season, the falls range from a peaceful cascade to a roaring torrent, making every visit a unique experience.
We’ll enjoy lunch overlooking the falls before taking some more time to appreciate the scenery and surrounding landscapes.
In the afternoon, we’ll return to Bangui.

Day 3 – Bangui – Mbaiki – Bangui
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Mbaïki, a lively town surrounded by dense rainforest in the fertile Lobaye region. From here, we’ll visit a nearby Ba’Aka community, one of Central Africa’s oldest indigenous peoples. Accompanied by local community members, we’ll gain an insight into their traditional way of life, learning about their close relationship with the rainforest, daily routines, music, and cultural traditions. We’ll also enjoy a traditional dance performance.
In the afternoon, we’ll return to Bangui to explore the capital city. Our guided tour includes the impressive Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, one of the city’s best-known landmarks, followed by the Boganda National Museum, where we’ll discover the country’s rich cultural heritage and history.
We’ll conclude the day at Bangui’s Central Market, where colourful fabrics, handcrafted goods, fresh produce, and the lively atmosphere provide a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in the Central African Republic.

Day 4 – Bangui
Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll be transferred to Bangui M’Poko International Airport for your onward flight.
