Hatra is famous for its big temples, strong city walls, and a mix of Greek, Roman, and Eastern architecture. ISIS damaged the site badly, but now it is being restored. Walking through Hatra gives a special feeling, and it is best to visit with a guide from Mosul or Erbil. Today, Hatra is a symbol of Iraqi pride, culture, and strength after hard times.
