If these dates differ significantly from the current tour dates, it may also be necessary to adjust the Chad tour. We therefore recommend waiting to book flights until everything is confirmed in spring 2025.

Itinerary
Thursday 18 September – N’Djamena – Ngueli
- Arrival in N’Djamena, the capital of Chad with an airport pick up.
- Meet the others at 18:00 in the hotel for a short briefing.
- Overnight stay in N’Djamena.
Friday 19 September – N‘Djamena – Koundoul – Gaoui
- Drive to the Chari-Baguirmi region, South-East of N’Djamena.
- Meet the nomadic Arab communities in Koundoul and get a glimpse of their unique way of life.
- Head to Gaoui, an ancient village said in folklore to be the capital of the Sao civilization – a civilisation of giants and nighty warriors. Discover Gaoui’s striking traditional architecture and marvel at the craftsmanship of the local women making beautiful pottery.
- On the way back, explore the lively Marché de Mil, a bustling market with vibrant local goods and flavors.
- Return to N’Djamena.
Saturday 20 September – N’Djamena
- Enjoy a full-day tour of N’Djamena’s highlights.
- Begin with a visit to the National Museum for a deep dive into Chad’s fascinating past.
- Take in the impressive Big Mosque from the outside, an iconic sight of the city.
- Stroll around to see the Our Lady of Peace Cathedral, a prominent landmark in the capital.
- Discover the Place of the Nation and the grand Palais de la Démocratie.
