Itinerary

Day 1 – Kampala –  Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve

• Airport pickup in Kampala and meet the local guide. 
• Drive to Pain Upe Game Reserve, through beautiful countryside and scenic landscapes. 
• Highlight: Explore the magnificent wildlife during an evening game drive. 
• Overnight stay in a lodge.

Day 2 – Pian Upe Wildlife Reserve – Moroto

• Early morning game drive, we will have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife . 
• Drive to Moroto. 
• Highlight: Visit the manyattas of the Karimojong people, traditional homesteads made of clay and grass. Here, we will have the unique opportunity to see firsthand how these indigenous people live and sleep.
• Overnight stay in a lodge.

Day 3 – Moroto – Tapeth community

• Drive to the Tapeth community, this drive is a great way to connect with nature and appreciate the local way of life. 
• Highlight: Once we arrive at the Tapeth community, we will have the unique opportunity to immerse ourselves in their culture by spending the night with them. 
• Throughout the evening, we will participate in various traditional activities, such as singing, storytelling, and dancing.
• Overnight stay at the Tapeth community.

Day 4 – Tapeth community – Moroto

• Highlight: Tapeth community breakfast ritual.
• Drive back to the lodge. 
• Free leisure time: village walk, exploring the local surroundings and learning more about the communities. Alternatively, you can simply relax at your lodge, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and preparing for the adventures that await you on the next day of the trip.
• Overnight stay in a lodge.

Day 5 – Moroto – Mbale

• Drive to Sipi Falls in Mbale.
• Highlight: Afternoon hike of the falls. The hike will take us through picturesque trails, as we reach the falls we can take a refreshing dip in the crystal clear water. 
• Overnight stay in a lodge.

Day 6 – Mbale – Kampala

• Drive back to Kampala. 
• Depending on your flight schedule; free time at the beach by the lake. 
• Airport drop off. 
• End of the tour.
