Itinerary
Day 1 – Entebbe – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be welcomed by your local guide before setting off on our journey towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s premier safari destinations. As we leave the shores of Lake Victoria behind, the landscape gradually changes into rolling hills, lush countryside and vibrant rural villages.
Along the way, we’ll make several stops, including at the famous Uganda Equator Monument in Kayabwe. Here you’ll have the unique opportunity to stand in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres at the same time while learning more about the line that divides the Earth.
By late afternoon, we arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you can relax and enjoy your first evening surrounded by Uganda’s beautiful wilderness.

Day 2 – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Rise early for a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park, when wildlife is at its most active. Keep an eye out for elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs and an impressive variety of birdlife. With a bit of luck, we may even spot lions or the elusive leopard.
The highlight of the day is a scenic boat safari along the renowned Kazinga Channel, the 36-kilometre waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. This is one of the best places in Uganda to observe large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants and countless bird species gathering along the water’s edge.

Day 3 – Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
This morning, the highlight is a guided chimpanzee trek through the spectacular Kyambura Gorge, often called the “Valley of Apes.” Hidden beneath the surrounding savannah, this lush rainforest is home to a habituated community of wild chimpanzees. Accompanied by experienced rangers, we’ll hike through the forest in search of these fascinating primates while learning about their behaviour and the unique ecosystem they inhabit. Although sightings can never be guaranteed, the chances are generally very good.
After the trek, we begin our journey back to Kampala, making a short stop along the way to stretch our legs and enjoy lunch before continuing to the capital.

Day 4 – Kampala – Entebbe
Depending on your flight schedule, we transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your onward journey.
