Itinerary
Tuesday 4 November – Malabo
- Arrival at your own convenience in Malabo, airport pick up, and meet the group at the hotel.
- After settling in, we’ll begin our guided exploration with a city tour of Malabo.
- Highlight: Visit landmarks such as Independence Square, Malabo Cathedral, and the Presidential Palace.
- Overnight stay in Malabo.
Wednesday 5 November – Malabo – Baney – Rebola – Bilelipa – Riaba – Moka – Malabo
- Drive to Rebola to explore its cultural heritage sites.
- Continue to Baney, a coastal town known for its historical connection to Spanish colonies.
- Highlight: Head to Bilelipa to visit the stunning waterfalls with a 1 hour walk.
- Take a trip to Riaba, a beautiful town surrounded by green landscapes.
- Arrive at Moka to visit the Biodiversity Protection Centre, which is focused on conserving local wildlife and promoting environmental sustainability.
- Return to Malabo.
- Overnight stay in Malabo.
Thursday 6 November – Malabo – Luba – Batete – Ureka – Basile Peak – Malabo
- Drive to Luba, a coastal town famous for its beautiful beaches and marine life.
- Visit Batete, a charming village known for its cultural significance.
- Drive to Ureka to discover its attractive waterfalls and beautiful landscapes.
- Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by nature.
- Highlight: Drive to the top of Basile Peak for a great view of the island. Pico Basilé is the tallest mountain in Equatorial Guinea (3,011m) and part of the three overlapping volcanoes that make up the island.
- Visit the Church of Mother Bisila, located 2,800 meters above sea level, known for its beautiful views.
- Return to Malabo in the evening and overnight stay in Malabo.
Friday 7 November – Malabo
- Drop-off at the airport.
