Itinerary

Day 1 – Riyadh

• Arrival in the country’s capital: Riyadh.
• Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel.
• Evening free to rest or explore nearby areas.
• Overnight stay in Riyadh.

Day 2 – Riyadh

• Visit the National Museum, which offers an overview of the history of Arabian civilization over time.
• Visit the Murabba Palace (outside view due to the renovation).
• Highlight: See the Al Masmak Fort, an old building made of mud and clay. The fort was one of the most important places in the creation of present-day Saudi Arabia.
• Visit the Al Faisaliah Tower.
• Overnight stay in Riyadh.

Day 3 – Riyadh – Hail

• Travel by high-speed train to Hail, at the foot of the imposing Shammar mountain range, which shares its name with a prominent northern Arabian tribe.
• Upon arrival, we’ll take a tour of Hail, the home of Saudi Arabia’s poets and writers.
• See the A’arif fort.
• Highlight: Walk to the traditional market, where we will have the chance to try local delicacies.
• Pass by the Ha’il Regional Museum, where we can admire their impressive collections.
• Overnight stay in Hail.

Day 4 – Hail – Jubbah – Al Ula

• Drive to Jubbah, a city surrounded by vast sandstone outcrops, home to ancient petroglyphs and inscriptions.
• On our way, we will pass through the famous Nefud Al Kabir desert, which translates to the great expanse of sand dunes.
• Continue our journey to the famous Al Ula area.
• Highlight: Upon arrival, we will visit Jebel Al-Fil, also known as the ‘Elephant Rock,’ a striking natural landmark.
• Overnight stay in Al Ula.

Day 5 – Al Ula – Medina

• We begin our journey with a visit to the famous Hegra (Madain Saleh), a UNESCO World Heritage site.
• Highlight: Discover this captivating site and uncover the secrets of its tombs, ancient inscriptions, stone structures, and much more.
• Continue the journey towards the city of Medina.
• Enjoy an evening in Medina.
• Overnight stay in Medina.

Day 6 – Medina – Jeddah

• This morning, we will visit the holy city of Medina, a major Islamic pilgrimage site. We will only explore the outskirts of the city, as central areas are closed to non-muslims.
• Highlight: Visit the Masjid al-Qiblatain (Qiblatain Mosque), known as the site where the Prophet Muhammad received the command to change the direction of prayer to Mecca.
• Take a short walk near Mount Uhud.
• Visit the Dar Al Madina Museum, which tells the story of Islam and the biography of the Prophet.
• Drive to Jeddah.
• Overnight stay in Jeddah.

Day 7 – Jeddah

• Highlight: Visit the Jeddah Corniche and its surroundings, a 30 km coastal resort area offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.
• Explore the Tayyebat Museum for a fascinating insight into Jeddah’s long and cosmopolitan history.
• Take a delightful walk in Al-Balad, the old part of the city. This walking tour will guide you to lesser-known yet must-see spots, including the hidden gems of the Old Market and Old Jeddah’s secret galleries.
• Airport drop off.
• End of tour.
