In this blog you’ll find the updated details about the new Syria visa. Since the fall of Assad, the Syrian government has introduced new Syria visa information for foreign visitors. Almost all countries can enter with visa. For now, fees are only being applied at Damascus Airport, while Syria land border visa remain free.
Land Border with Lebanon
At the moment, entry to Syria via the Lebanese land border is visa-free and no security clearance is required, therefore there are no costs associated. Please note that this is likely to change in the near future.
Land Border with Jordan
At the moment, entry to Syria via the Jordanian land border is visa-free and no security clearance is required, therefore there are no costs associated. Please note that this is likely to change in the near future.
Damascus Airport
At the moment, entry to Syria via the Damascus Airport requires a visa on arrival (VOA). The cost of this visa varies from country to country and is subject to change.
