5 day tour – Cameroon

Itinerary

Day 1 – Douala

• Arrival in Douala, the largest city of Cameroon.
• Airport pick-up and drop-off at hotel.
• Overnight stay in Douala. 

Day 2 – Douala – Dschang

• Depart early for Dschang, passing through the Djombe-Penja plain renowned for its extensive plantations of banana, papaya, pineapple, and pepper.
• We continue to the Ekon-Nkam waterfall, famous for its breathtaking natural beauty and its association with the filming of Tarzan.
• After exploring the waterfall, we will continue towards Dschang where we’ll pass by coffee and cocoa fields.
• Overnight stay in Dschang.

Day 3 – Dschang – Foumban – Bandjoun

• We will continue to Foumban, a historical city dating back to the seventeenth century and one of the country’s prime tourist attractions.
• The Palace and Museum of the Sultanate of Foumban, a unique and strange building.
• Take a walk through the artisans’ street, observing woodcarvers, founders, and blacksmiths at work.
• Depart for Bandjoun via Bafoussam.
• Visit the chiefdom and the museum.
• Overnight stay in Bandjoun.

Day 4 – Bandjoun – Yaoundé

• Morning drive to Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon. We will start our city tour upon arrival!
• Independence Monument.
• Kennedy Avenue, the business district of the city.
• Reunification Monument.
• Our Lady of Victories Cathedral.
• Overnight stay in Yaoundé.

Day 5 – Yaoundé – Douala

• Make our way back to Douala.
• Airport drop-off.
• End of tour.
