7 days tour – Central & North Afghanistan
During our 7-day tour through Afghanistan you will get to know the capital Kabul, the stunning Panshir Valley and the northern city of Mazar-e Sharif. This city is known for its famous Blue Mosque. During the tour you will also be supported by our expert guide, who will answer all your questions and help you with everything along the way. He will pick you up from the airport and drop you off again at the end of the trip.

Itinerary
Day 1 – Kabul
- Pick-up from the airport and meet the guide.
- Briefing on travelling in Afghanistan, including on the local customs & dress.
- Kabul Museum.
- Highlight: Bibi Mahru Fort, place where many Afghans come together to relax. On top of the mountain is a large swimming pool with a giant Afghan flag.
- Babur’s Gardens, an oasis of tranquillity in busy Kabul.
- OMAR Landmine Museum.
- Overnight stay in Kabul.
Day 2 – Kabul – Mazar-e Sharif
- Morning in Kabul, depending on the time, we can go to:
- Highlight: Bala Hissar Park, check out the beautiful views over the city.
- British Cemetery, a cemetery where mainly Western people are buried.
- Flight to Mazar-e Sharif.
- Overnight stay in Mazar-e Sharif.
Day 3 – Mazar-e Sharif – Bakh
- Highlight: The famous blue tomb of Hazrat Ali, the Blue Mosque.
- Drive to Bakh.
- Khwaja Abu Nasr Parsa shrine, a famous lecturer from Herat. The shrine was built in 1958.
- No Gombad Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Afghanistan. Nowadays a lot of excavations are done here.
- Drive to Mazar-e Sharif.
- Overnight stay in Mazar-e Sharif.
Day 4 – Mazar-e Sharif – Samangan
- Ride to Samangan.
- Highlight: Tashkurgan, also known as Choelm. Here we drive through deep ravines.
- Old King’s Hunting Lodge, the King’s old loot and palace.
- Buddhist monastery, a complex of different caves.
- Overnight stay in Mazar-e-Sharif.
Day 5 – Kabul
- Flight to Kabul.
- Shah-e Doh Shamshira Mosque, one of the most famous mosques in Kabul.
- Highlight: Chicken Street, the famous hippie street with souvenirs.
- Darulaman Palace, the former palace of the king of the country.
- Overnight stay in Kabul.
Day 6 – Panshir Valley
- Drive to the Panshir Valley.
- Highlight: Tomb of Ahmed Shah Massoud, a warrior who resisted the Taliban for a long time.
- Local fish restaurant with stunning views over the Panshir.
- On the way we stop regularly to enjoy the views.
- Drive to Kabul.
- Overnight stay in Kabul.
Day 7 – Kabul
- Airport drop-off.
- End of the tour.
